I'm not a pro but I just iron my stichwitchery to the fabric, then I take my template and glue it lightly with glue stick to the papper backing, then I just cut with scissors and then it's ready to to be ironed on. It works for me.HTH.

I found this great tutorial on appliqued. It was so easy. I want to do lots more, but I need to find about 10 more hours in the day

That's a good tutorial, but they don't mention in it that if you iron interfacing to the inside of the onesie you won't get the problem of it "being sucked into the bobbin" like they do mention. The Steam a Seam 2 is awesome too! It's way better than trying to use something that will gum up your needle. I posted this on another thread, but I think it's a great tutorial for beginning applique and you can come up with your own shapes and still use the technique. (OH and by the way I just cut out the shapes with scissors once I have the fusible webbing ironed on.)

Yeah, I just went on my editing software and found shapes that I thought would be cute. I also did a bib for a friend and put a monogram on it.
