thanks so much I have always wonder how to make it but still i'm at lost after looking thru it...guess I'll have to try to figure it out..i'm more of a visual and need explaining for this type of stuff...but will give it a try...lol

I have some material I'd like to use - haven't I seen a tutorial somewhere out there for making a pillowcase dress without starting with a pillowcase? would you just make a pillowcase and then go? I'm not the seamstress - that would be my mother. I just have the ideas - and finally a little girl. She isn't very girly, but I sure am trying! :P

I hope someone knows the answer, because I am in the same boat--lots of cute fabric, but not pillowcases. I might try finding the one I had found at one time (but forgot to bookmark!!!).

Hello everyone, I've made a few of these myself and think they turned out nice.

Ive searched and searched for a pattern till i gave up and did it myself. however today i came across these sites and wanted to share.

My sister in law gave me a few pix to post of my niece wearing a couple of the dresses I made for her.
The blue dress, I bought the material at walmart and just sewed ribbon to it.It came smocked (if thats what that is called).
The other two I made as well as the flops and bow.

Oh, what a little darling!! She looks so sweet and the dresses turned out fabulous!! I especially LOVE the green & brown one!! Thanks for sharing the pics!!
