How do you get featured on a blog?
I know that you have to really work to drive traffic to your etsy site (or any site for that matter) and I am trying to figure out what all I can do. I have some new mom / mom to be items (not bows) that I would like to market and I thought that getting them on one of the many mommy blogs would be a great way to do that. Do you just find the blog and email them your info and just outright ask to be featured? Is this rude or is this how it's done?
Any advice would be greatly apprecaited. THANKS!

I have always had people contact me to write about me. I have been in about 10 blogs. I think getting your name out there- talking the the forums.. craft shows- they all help.
