Default polymer clay??

Does anyone make any of the polymer clay stuff? I think it is really cute and would love to learn, but I just don't know where to start. Can anyone help me out with some tips?

I started making poly clay stuff a little while ago and it is so much fun. There are so many websites to check out, just google them.
Michael's, ACMoore and Joann's run sales frequently on the poly clay so you never really have to pay full price. I got a cheap pasta machine at a yard sale which works awesome to condition the clay.

So what do you recommend for starting? I just want to make some for my daughter, but I like to try and do it myself. What stuff do I need to have to start? Is there a good book that tells me how to do this?

Miranda, I would love to see some more business card holders. Maybe some with polka dots and flowers.
