how to use marabou feather boa
hope im posting in the right place
i received some white, pink & black marabou feather boa in the post - i made some circles and applied little fabric glue then
have used it as a backing to bottle caps, teamed it with yoyo puffs and pretty cath kidston fabric buttons and toped it with a crystal snowflake motif .. however 2 of the circles look as if they will unravel with use - can i ask when making marabou circles how best to secure - should i perhaps stitch instead of glue or is glue gun better - really want to use as it looks fab, also how else can it be used? could i make marabou puffs with it?
Re: how to use marabou feather boa
I use hot glue on the ends - watch those fingers It's a bit messy too, so I try to do it on the porch the feathers will fly. Some will use scotch tape and then cut. Glue the "rope" ends together to form your circle/puff. Depending on how big you want the puff I usually do 4-5 inches
