Default ribbon headband without elastic?

I recently made a ribbon headband using velcro so that it cld be adjustable instead of foe. Is there another alternative besides velcro and foe? I am in a show and have plenty of ribbon but my show budget is busted . I use them for the popular gerber daisies and hand singed flowers. TIA for any ideas.

personally i'd be kinda afraid to use velcro in/around the hair as it could so easily get tangled/stuck.

how about the bra sliders? or maybe attaching a piece of foe in the back (make it 1/2 foe & 1/2 ribbon) . . . or toggles (don't know if the ribbon would be too slippery for these if you're using satin).

Bra sliders and toggles are both good alternatives. I sell bra sliders (see siggy) in white.

An HG named mamamelz made a free tutorial on how to make adjustable headbands. Here it is:

I was worried about that too. I did the velcro for a newborn shoot and it was perfect. Gre8cre8 I am on my way to check out your link and upur site now.
