Default Adding bows to headbands

I have been playing around with adding bows to woven headbands. I'd like to make them detachable, that way if they don't sell, I can switch out the bow, etc. Anyway, my bows seem kinda flat on the headband. Advice? Or can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial for adding bows to headbands.

You can just slide a clip into the weave. I do it all the time this way and it works great.

It's on an alligator clip. I'm just not liking the way the bow looks. Here's a better picture of what's going on..I think the bow should stand up more, does that make sense. Maybe I should use larger ribbon

I'll try that. I *think* its a pinwheel.
And just to clarify ....is a twisted boutique the same as boutique?

I think if you make a TBB it will stand up higher. I like a flatter bow on a headband personally and didn't see anything wrong with the one in the picture. I guess it is a matter of personal preference.

If you want to to stand up more, I would also sugest doing a TBB. They have more natural "fluff" to them to start with. Pinwhhels and boutiques are a flatter bow.

For the record I think the bow looks adorable on your dd. I love that face on the first pic!

If you do a twisted they will stand up higher.. I'll find a link just a sec.

example of twisted.
Pinwheels are supposed to be flat.
