Default Another headband question

My daughter is 5, and I have made her headbands in sizes 1/2, 3/4, and 1 in. Now I have noticed that the 1/2in tends to fall out easily.
Would attaching the no-slip grips to the inside help it stay in? What would that look like after awhile?
Or maybe velvet ribbon glued to the inside, would that grip the hair and make it stay better?
Or, should I buy a toddler sized headband? I bought some doll sized headbands on a website other than the one I normally used, and I noticed there were toddler sized headbands. The site I buy from only has one size..
