Honestly that tutu will probably fit both sizes.. I personally wouldnt put a crochet top tutu on a 4 year old since the tops can be seethrough so make sure you tell the mommy that first! But you can just adjust the length of the tulle to suit the needs and the top will stretch.

Hope that makes since!

I agree that the top will still fit a 4T. I had a tutu dress order for a 4 and told her that she might want to plan to layer the dress over a tank or top, she was fine with it. Another option that I've done for 4 year olds is to fold the crochet band over, giving more coverage...but you also need to make the tulle longer to accommodate this. Another option (which I haven't done because my stupid sewing machine is sitting there and I can't get the bobbin thread to catch)...is to take two and sew them together (making it wider, not longer). This will give more coverage for older girls too.

Have fun!

ps: the dress is very pretty!

Thank you so ladies, you both gave me great advice.
I think for the 4T I would order the 2.75inch crochet headbands and make the tulle longer and have a big bow in the front that way it wouldn't be see through
For the Newborn I might just use that one maybe just cut the tulle a little shorter.
