If you wanna do it on the cheap, I bet you could do it like they did in the link but just use two side by side for the bigger width....

I tried the Popsicle stick ones and they are very fragile. The wood is thin and even modge podged it felt like it wouldn't last long.

I bought the craft sticks and made them, and my girls have played with them constantly and they have held up great.......which totally surprised me.

you can buy the aluminum blanks pretty inexpensively (less than $1 each!)

I am absolutely in love with these cuffs. I started searching on how to make the blank cuff and found a link about using soda cans. I wondered how sturdy it would be though, I was going to try it out until I saw the last post.

I think I may order those cuffs and give it a try. I'm super excited to have a new project. Of course my project list is getting very long thanks to this site!!! I'm soooo addicted...

Those are really cool! I'd never pay $40, but honestly, there isn't much I would pay that much for because I'd try to make it myself instead! I bet there is a market for it though!! What a great idea!

Here is another link I found for the bracelet cuff blanks. http://www.beadwork-supplies.com/aluminumblanks.html They have a retail side & wholesale too, although you have to purchase 4 gross for wholesale. http://www.beadwork-supplies.com/wholesale.html It looks like a cool site, and I think their prices seem good too. I'm always a little apprehensive about a website as opposed to ebay or etsy shop until I try them out, but it looks like you pay through Paypal, so for me, I'd be okay with it.

OK... just noticed that this website is the same people as in the etsy shop link posted above my post. (duh, should have noticed I guess.)

Those are cute, but like others said.....NOT $40 cute!!! I saw a tut that used a coda can, but I think I might buy some of those cuff bracelets someone posted.

I am totally going to order a dozen for $5.50 of the metal blanks. Hubby and I toyed with buying some aluminium and bending it ourselves, but it seemed to hard.

Oh my gosh, these bracelets are darling! I might have to give this a try, too. They'd much fun Christmas presents to give to my friends and sisters!

$40 does seem like an awful lot, but I noticed she's using a TON of rhinestones on each design. If they're actual Swarovski rhinestones, and she's using nice fabric, that could be a reason for the high cost, perhaps? Still...I'd think $15 or even $20 seems much more reasonable!
