Someone posted a long time ago about putting a globl of hot glue on your silicon glue gun mat (cannot live without my mat now!), and then sticking both ends of marabou in that until it's cool enough to peel off.
By then, the glue is at a good temp. to kind of shape it around the ends and remove any excess.

I was using tape to clean up the feather mess. I never actually thought of putting the tape on the marabou itself! Thanks for the idea

I usually cut my marabou over the trash bin so that feathers arent all over the place. I then glue my two ends together, and glue the circle ontop of my spikes. When gluing the ends together, I use clothespins to help hold them. I put glue on both ends of the boa and use those clothespins to bring the ends together...hold for a while and voula its dry and no burned fingers.
