Default Graffiti Cheer Bows Question

Ok I have been trying to get my graffiti bows made for an upcoming show but I am sooo unhappy with how they look. I bought vinyl that is used for baby beds and it doesn't seem to be working. I have tried 2 other types of vinyl but I must be buying the wrong kind.

Can anyone help with this?

I tried the clear iron on vinyl but could not get it to hold. Gmacks sent me a message a few months back and said to buy the white vinyl in the fabric section. I think I just keep buying the wrong kind.

I bought some shiny vinyl-like fabric at joanns. Reminds me of what you would make 'pleather' pants out of. kwim? I don't know what it was actually called.
Then I fused it to ribbon with heat and bond.
It was hard to cinch in the center when making the bow, but they held their shape well.
Hope that helps!

Good evening all! This is the exact fabric I use to make the graffiti bow. You need to tie the center loosely because the vinyl once bonded to ribbon has a tendency to pucker.

But stretch vinyl is the way to go for this particular bow project.

HTH!
