Default skinny elastic?

I just bought some skinny elastic for the first time to make some headbands. How to you attach the ends together? I have been sewing them before I glue the flower and felt over them, but wondered if there was a faster way. Heat fusing?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I use Fabric-Tac and hold together w/a clothespin until dry.

I was sewing before as well, but now I just hot glue it between two pieces of felt. I've never had a problem with it pulling apart and I've tested it not only myself, but I let me 18 month old go crazy pulling on it and it survived.

I use fabritac as well. I fabritac the ends together, hold with a clothespin, then take two pieces of felt and fabric one to the flower and then sandwich the elastic between the two pieces of felt.

I sew mine even though just using a high temp glue gun works as well.

I also sandwich it between felt with hot glue.

I sew mine with a bunch of hand sewn stitches (only takes a minute) and then it gets reinforced with the hot glue.

Thats the way I do mine.
I usually put one stitch in though before I sandwich it between the felt

I think I am going to do the same thing. Put just a couple quick stitches in before I glue it. I would hate to have one come apart on me!

I also do a few stiches and then hot glue.

I have yet to have any come apart that way.

LOOOVE skinny elastic!
