thanks for all the suggestions, I tried one with the e6000 and then stitched them, trying to hide the stitch in the swirling fabric. Do you think the e6000 is to much and I should just stitch? Do you warn your customers of the additional fraying?

I have never put them on anything that would be repeatedly washed....but if i did, and the fabric could take multiple pin pricks without being damaged I would consider making them removable too.

I'd say yes..a warning would be good. Why don't you try it out? glue one to a shirt, and when its ready......wash and dry the heck out of it at least 6 times and see how it hold up.

What are pinbacks and where can I find them?? I have been looking for something other than sewing flowers on.

This is what I would do to, hot glue to round piece of felt, then glued on to pin backs, take off when washing.
BUT... hand sewing them on to clothes is not too bad. My grand daughter gets her's so dirty, they still have to be washed! LOL

They are kinda of like a safety pin, but have a flat piece on the bottom, to glue on to products. I don't know where to get them, probably any craft store, but I would suggest to google it.

i use a combination of hand stiching to secure it (in the middle) and then fabric glue around the edges (where stiching would be noticable) i wash it cold gentle cycle inside out in a mesh bag and then dry flat. it totally held up in wash
