Default What can I use for this???

My daughter is 3 & still has the baby fine hair. I am trying to let it grow a bit but my husband is getting in the way of that with the scissors. He just cut "more" bangs to the sides & now her hair looks like crap. I miraculously was able to get the small pony-o in her hair today but it was near impossible. I have something (think rheumatoid arthritis) in my hands & have a hard time using these small things. Does anyone else have any suggestions for something I can use. Are there any ponytail holders that are between the teeny tiny ones & the ones for adults?
TIA!!!
Beth

I use these things from my grocery store... "no snag elastics" here's a pic so you know what I'm talking about. They will probably look too big, but they are really easy to twist over the hair so they wont be too hard on your hands.

We have always used the same kind of elastics on Chloe. You can get smaller ones than the ones in the picture Liz showed. There are little teeny ones we got at Claires and then there are some in between those and the biggers ones. They are made by Goody. Actually I will see if I can find our pack and take a picture for you.

Ok, these are what I've always used. I hate using anything else on her hair.

Those that Sarah listed a picture of are the same ones that I use for Adri, but htey aren't tinited and I get them at walmart. I can't get the ones from the baby section taht are more likemine in her hair cause they don't stretch well for me and I have big hands. I LOVE the clear little plastic ones though. They hold really well, and they can't be seen with a bow on them cause they are thin!!!

I would KILL my husband. I told him, my mom, and my MIL when Adri was born that if anyone ever cut her hair I wold torture them. My MIL kept takling about banks for her when she turned 2 and I just kept telling her no!!!! Adri thinks it is a punishment to get her hair trimmed!! She is very vain about her hair. She wants it to be like Barbie's.

Beth,

What about the elastics with the ball on each end. A friend of mine uses those because they are easy to wrap and pull the ball through and easy to get out. Maybe you could put the balls toward the side or back and clip a cute alligator clip over it.?????

Emma has always had a ton of hair so i never had that problem but i have made some bows with velcro belive it or not. Put a bit of hair between the 2 pieces of velcro and it will stay in. Doesnt hurt to take out either :-)
