Default satin wrapped tutu waist

just curious from those who wrap their tutus waist in satin ribbon- do you have a certain length that you cut depending on the waist size or do you keep it all wound up and then just cut it when your done?

ive done both and cant manage to ever cut the piece long enough. but i find its much easier wrapping it around without having to hold onto the (whatever the heck its called) thing the ribbon is wound on. does this make sense?

thats what i figured is the best way and what most do. do you make a bow as well or just wrap the waist? if you make a bow, do you make a seperate one and glue it on or leave tails of ribbon and make it out of the tails?

i wrap everyone! i have only used 1.5" ribbon and i think it can look a little bulky. im going to try 7/8" next time. but i will still wrap every knot.

yep i just tie the ends in a bow... so you need to leave enough ribbon out to start with for one side of the bow
