Most of my ribbon is from GBs. Hairbow Center has YAMA ribbon, too, along with what the OP said. I don't 'measure' my cuts, per se, but count the spirals. The longer the spirals, the bigger the korker. The pics I showed have 6 full spirals and 2 'halves'. I also make little tiny korkers that are about 1", cut with 4 full spirals and 2 'halves.' Cute, cute, cute! Can you tell I've experimented with korkers a little?

I use 3/8 inch ribbon and I use LOTS! Just add some more and yours will be fuller too.

I use smaller wooden dowels to wrap them around. A notice a lot of people use the 1/4" ones Mine are much smaller. Maybe that will help?IMG_0080.jpg

I use 3/8 ribbon and use about 35 pieces or so per korker. They come out nice and full that way.
