Someone asked this question last week I think. They advised to use finger nail polish remover. I tried it and it worked! It didn't remove the color of the fabric or stain it. I used it on a frayed flower.

I think rubbing ice over the spot would removed it too.

RUBBING ALCOHOL! Take a q-tip and dip it in the rubbing alcohol. saturate the area. wait a minute and it peels right off! I had to do it last night.

I used my woodburner to soften the glue and then wipe off with my finger (trying not to burn myself of course). Takes a few passes, as you have to be careful to melt the glue and not the ribbon, but it always works for me.

I usually lightly go over the area with a lighter. Works everytime!

funny thing this thread was on top this morning---I was assembling a clip and dripped glue on it---off to pop it in the freezer and see if it works!

Thanks for the tips, ladies!

I will have to try the freezer, alcohol, and/or nail polish remover method. Currently have been re-heating and using tweezers.
