Default Shabby flowers...

I am a vendor in a HUGE 3 day craft show starting in 7 days. I bought some shabby flowers for the first time for this show and I LOVE THEM!!! They are so pretty! My question is, how do I attach them to a clip? They came attached to a thin layer of tulle. I'm guessing that I cut the tulle away from the flower, cover the entire bottom of the flower in felt and then use another felt circle to attach the clip. Like the bigger felt circle that covers the bottom would stablize it and give the clip something to grab? Does that make sense? Is this method how everyone else does it? I've never used these flowers before so I'm flying blind here! When I ordered them, I didn't realize how thin the fabric is.

I put felt on the bottom of mine and then attach them to a partially lined clip. I don't use another felt but I guess you could.
