Default Bity Bows for Newborns

Im just curious what to put them on for newborns who may have a tiny bit of hair. I have some itty bitty clips but going at my newborns hair with a metal clip scares me lol. Ive thought about using velcro, would this work and how would I go about doing it. I have a big boutique bow for my baby girl's going home outfit to go on a headband but was thinking a cute small bow for her hospital pictures would be perfect (provided she has hair lol). Help with itty bitty bows please girls Ive never really done these before.

I have heard of people using velcro for those with hair. I have also heard a dab of elmer's glue work to stick it to the head and washes off with a baby wipe. I have made small bows with really thin ribbon tied into a bow and little tuxedo bows.

I was going to say vasoline or a jelly like that works wonders to stick little bows to those babies who don't have a ton of hair!
Or even a dab of Karo Syrup!

My third came out with almost enough hair for a pony tail!
