E6000 ROCKS!!! I use to drill holes in them and sew/tie them on even with hot glue because they didn't stay on well, which looked horrible. But I discovered E6000 and they don't budge!!!

I use E6000 too. I put the E6000 around the outside with a dab of hot glue in the middle. I do this so it has something that sets immediately, but also has something with a more durable hold......

I make two holes(like a button) in the base of my bottle caps and sew the plain caps on first. Then I glue the image in after. A dab of hot glue under the cap before you sew helps a little too. I don't think it looks bad at all when I'm done since the thread isn't really bulky and the image still sits flat. I can't tell the difference between mine and others I've seen using E6000. My friend uses a little bit of sand paper to roughen the bottom up a little before she glues, and she has success with that.

I glue a little piece of felt to the bottle cap with E6000 & then hot glue it to the bow. The felt just gives the hot glue something to grab onto.
