Default felt flowers

So I have a few questions, I've never made any felt flowers before and they are so cute Ide live to start making some myself, I've bought a few but would like different colors. So my question is, what die cut machine works best and what felt works best? I have a Cricut and the first generation sizzix. Don't know what would work best? I've been thinking of a cuttlebug? Helpp!

I have a Sizzix Big Shot, so I don't know about the other types of die cut machines, but if you want to cut felt with Sizzix dies, they need to be either Originals or Bigz. The Sizzlets will only cut through the very thinnest of fabric. That's a bummer too because they have some really cute ones!

My Big Shot came with plates so I can use other brands of dies. Very cool....

I use a cuttlebug, it works great even with other dies.

I tried to use a spellbinders die to cut some satin, but couldn't get it to work. Have you been able to use one of their dies on your Big Shot to cut fabric? If so, will you please let us know what the "sandwich" consisted of. When I tried, it almost seemed like I needed more thickness, like an extra cutting pad instead of just 2.

Have you been able to cut fabric with Sizzlets?
