Default Where to place flower on adjustable headband

I found a tutorial for the adjustable headbands and have made a few.
The question that I have is where do I attached the flower?
May seem silly, but since the band is adjustable, I'm just not sure where to put it so that it will sit in an appropriate spot if it is sized for an infant or an adult.

Or do you just put the flower on a clippie? I would like to perman. attach if possible.

I've wondered the same thing! Marking in case you come up with a good answer! I wonder if it would be better to do one that adjusts from newborn to toddler or young girl and another that would adjust from girl to adult? Just so that the necessary adjustable room you need to allow for wouldn't be as far apart? Does that make sense? It seems to me that if the headband went from infant to adult, even if the stationary part was "hidden" with the overlapping flower, the adjuster part would have to be visible by the time it adjusted to an adult size.

I was playing around with a clippie for placement and couldn't quite figure a good spot that was universal.

I know people have different head sizes - mine is really small. But, in general, babies heads are not much smaller than an adult. Thus the whole pain in childbirth, etc. Do you find it really makes that much of a difference? Just wondering.

Did you pay for the tutorial? Could you send a message to the creator of it and ask? I've seen a lot of gals that sell their tutorials offer their availability to questions.

I put mine about 3-5 inches from the ring side usually around 4... that way it can adjust smaller but it can alsohopefully be hidden under the hair. I har also thought about adding a floating loop that you could move to put the clippie through. hth
