Default What to charge someone wanting private lessons on satin flowers?

I was doing a sale and I had someone ask how to I make some of my items. I gave her some info and well she just called me wanting to pay me to teach her how I make my satin flowers. How much should I charge per hour and for a 20 minute drive? She says she is wanting to do them to raise money for a charity and not do a business. What are your thoughts?

She will most likely start selling them to friends and family and then turn it in to a business... how about you wholesale them to her insted?

I agree with all the pp. I do not teach ANYONE to do my bows. I dont even really answer questions directly. I give very general answers. I do this to help my family.

THanks fro all the replies ladies. I love this forum

After thinking about it I have decided to not do the lesson. My friend and I do the same exact technique on our flowers but they look totally different. I am sure there is someone out there that does them exactly how I do but I just don't want to teach it to anyone just yet.

That was my mistake number 1 was telling her to check the internet. So she has been trying but just can't seem to get them to look like mine and that is how she wants them
