I know, these are some of the same issues I have brought up with manufactures. The problem becomes cost. Unfortunately, it is hard to convince people about quality electronically. Most people only recognize cost.

I use double prongs for bigger bows and Single prongs for smaller bows or flower clips.

I like doubles because of the way they hold and the ribbon line them so much better. To me they look better after they are lined verses the single.

I also think it's a matter of personal preference. I personally like the single prong better.

I only use single because, like a pp said, the doubles can get caught in the hair a lot easier. The single prong ones slide right in.

Quality is very important to me. If you sell something that is made cheap and has a good chance of falling a part or breaking then it hurts your reputation. ...... even if you make it right for the customer. They will be happy you made it right but will not forget you sold a product that was not very well made or the products you used were not of good quality.

I agree, which is why we monitor quality very closely. We have even stopped purchasing from some suppliers because they cannot ensure constant quality. I feel the same way you do! If we buy cheap clips all we will have is a huge stock! lol
