Default Must be an easier way!

Hi Ladies - so I purchased frayed flowers attached to a mesh back. Never did it before because I thought it would be a PITA cutting the mesh. Well, looks like I'm right! It's taking me forever to cut the flower from mesh - making sure I cut ever bit of mesh

Is there a secret easier way???

TIA!

Not that I know of. It is a PITA - price accordingly.

I only cut what shows and it's pretty quick and painless. Are you talking about the fabric with the frayed flowers or the trim?

Lol, I was thinking the same thing, thought about having my older boys cut them for me, but afraid they'll be lazy and cut through the chiffon...sigh, just one of those tedious jobs that we have to deal with. At least the flowers are so inexpensive that it balances out the labor

I cut most of the mesh off first with my big scissors and then use embroidery scissors to get as close to the stitching as possible. Now that I actually think about it, yeah, it is a PITA!!

I cut as around the flower to get as close as I can to the edge of the mesh without driving myself nuts and the use my lighter on the rest. It burns and curls up the mesh.
