Default Which way do you face your clip?

I guess I never really thought about this, but which way do you face the hairbow clip. I was looking at some of my daughters bows & I face them to the left & right... :/ She doesn't have a natural part, so it doesn't really matter for her since I can put them on either side of her head. But, I'm curious as to the most popular way to have them facing... & why?

I face most of my clips so that a parent putting them in would hold them in their right hand. A higher percentage of people are right handed so it is natural for them to place the clip with their right hand. This is what I do for bows, unless making sets then of course I do one left and one right. As for clippies, I tend to do both directions so that people can either buy them as sets or buy the one that goes the direction they need.

75% of my customers want left facing. I do initial embroidered bows, so direction needs to be correct or the letter is upside down. Any character bow or something generic with a definite left and right I default to left.

I make most things to go on the right side of the head. I'll have a few for the left side and I'll make some appliques as clippie sets for both sides. I'm glad for flowers it often doesn't matter!

Right handed because 90% of the population is right handed.

Great question! I think it is more about which side of the head the bow is going to be worn on.. I think! I think this question needs to be polled!

^^^^^^^^^^^^ This for me too :-)

For bows that it would actually make a difference I put the option on my website when they order if they intend to wear on the left or right side.

Great idea! I set up a poll for it.

I do them for both, but for my girls I make them so they open to the left. I have had a few customers ask for ones that open to the right because of the way their kid's hair parted.

for most bows i really don't give much of a preference it could be either or but if its for a set ill make sure one faces left and one right etc, I haven't had customers ask for a preference either
