Default Taking on a mind of it's own! HELP!

Ok ladies! You all are always SO wonderful with help whenever I need it. I REALLY need it now! lol I have a boutique where I sell my marabou puffs with korker and such. I'm in a crunch and need some more marabou puffs. I have Marabou boa that I need turned into some puffs. Can anyone PLEASE give me an idea as to how to do this? Most that I have ordered feel as though they have been glued into a circle or sewn? Ideas??? Here is one of my bows that I am talking about!

You are right: Just cut about 3" or so and glue the ends together. It's messy but you gotta love feathers!! My first feathers that I glued together I used TONS of glue, but this isn't necessary. Glue is better than sewing because it stops the ends from unraveling and makes it so you don't lose as many feathers.

I think i have seen that you can wrap a piece of tape around a section and then cut in the middle of the tape. Then there will be tape on both ends.

Ultimately, it is messy messy! Many ladies do the cutting outside.

This is exactly what I do and if I was never given that tip, I would have thrown in the (feather) towel a long time ago..Not only does it keep feathers from flying everything, it makes it easier to glue the ends together more securely too!

Great advice I was given regarding feathers: press REALLY hard. My thumb nails always hurt after a large batch of pressing the cord of the boas to clips and such. For korkers (and any other center for that matter) you have to press the center hard enough to the clip, making certain that your korker is adhering to the clip and not just the feathers.
