Default chiffon rosette tut?

ok....i know i'm driving everyone on here crazy with all my posts over the last couple days...i'm actually stressing over this bday order. A customer wants me to make chiffon or tulle flowers like the ones on this shirt

http://www.etsy.com/listing/58764556...sette-tank-top

and have them as frosting on a cupcake on the shirt. Are there any good tuts. I looked on here but then after reading them came to deadends with websites not working anymore. When I get this order done I will post picts. Thanks everyone for all the help you are giving me. I have been trying to get my at home business running after a year and now the orders are flooding in

That is beautiful! Couldn't you do them the same way as a rolled rosette just keep your rolls loose?

pretty sure those are china-made flowers but you can do them yourself. roll, hand sew into the shape

just fold your long strip of chiffon in half, sew a running stitch across the entire length, pull and roll together.

You could hot glue the flower to a base (felt or fabric) and leave a small edge all around to sew to the shirt. That way it would be sewn all the way around and would be secure but the flower itself would be glued.

I would sew the flower itself but alot of people are not very secure in the sewing skills.

I would sew the flower itself as well.

That is how I would make them also, and as you roll them, take a stitch here and there to keep it together.
