My glue gun of 16 years died last night & I am really bummed.... I love that thing! Anyone have any suggestions on what kind/brand I need to get?

I just use the regular walmart cheapos and they work great! I always buy the minis though.

I don't care where you look, you will not find another glue gun that will be as good as the one you had. They are all cheap now, but they do the job.

I have the Alene's one that everyone here was raving about a while back and I love it. It has different tips and a carrying case.

I get the ones from Walmart, but I like to change them out every 6-12mo just because

I got mine from H/L it has a really thin tip which i LOVE it wasn't more than $10 and it has a stand I replace my guy once ecery 6 months....

They don't make things as durable and lasting as the used to! Mine was ugly & nasty looking & I really should have replaced him with a new clean one but just could not make myself do it. Is appearance the reason some of you relace yours because mine worked just like new up till the day it quit on me.... Just making sure there is not something I am missing.
