Unhappy Well...that's embarrassing!!

Ok, so I don't make bows, just flowers. I've been trying to get rid of the things that don't sell as much on Etsy so I've taken them to my daughter's preschool to sell. The director is my sister so she said the parents are loving it.

Anyways, my sister and my neighbor told me that the rhinestone center had fallen off of their flower clips. Um..is there a different more effective method than hotglueing a rhinestone to a fabric flower? Pretty embarrassing to say the least!

Are you using high temp or low temp hot glue? I use a very high temp glue gun and I've never had a stone come off. I've never even been able to pull one off on purpose. I wanted to switch out a stone for a different color one time and I couldn't, for the life of me, get that stone to come off.

Ouch, that is a bit embarrasing. I also agree with E6000... never had anything fall off with it! You could go to a Michaels to get it if you have one near and use one of their 40% off coupon! Other wise, RABOM and TRR sells it.

Uggg...that's the worst. Sorry.
If you stick with hot glue, make sure your gun is super hot before using it. Let it heat for about 15-20 minutes. When you glue your center down, press and hold it for about 30 seconds. That's the technique I use and they stick awesome. Sometimes if I glue a rhinestone off center I'm unable to pull it off to fix it.

I have always used hot glue and none of them ever comes off. I even try to pull them apart sometimes and it is very hot.
Definitely make sure the glue gun is very hot before using it.

I use a high temp glue gun and have never (so far) had a rhinestone come off. I have trouble getting them off when I try.

I have always used hot glue & havent had a problem
you can use e6000
also i have heard if you live in a hotter climate the heat will mess with the hot glue
& losen it.
