You are right about the hotter climate. I live in missouri and I have to be careful when doing craft shows outside in the summer. If it's baking in the sun all day, it doesn't matter what glue you use. I only had one rhinestone come off in the middle of June. I'm glad that was all. Haha

If you're going to use E6000 be careful! It eats through acrylic rhinestones!!

I use hot glue as well, high temp glue gun. I never had a problem but once I was putting together a clip and noticed it wasn't sticking as well. Come to find out the heating element in my glue gun was going bad (guess I use it ALOT) so I had to go out and buy another one. Sad thing is the other ones have not lasted nearly as long or as nice as my surebonder one (which I couldn't find another one like it). Guess I tend to over use and abuse. lol.

Thanks girls. It was just embarrassing. I'm going to try to use that E6000 as well and maybe it's time to be a big girl and get a real glue gun and not the smaller sided ones you get in check out lane at HL.

just a note on E6000, i used it on some small cheap gems and it messed up the back foil..kinda ate it up a bit so i had to throw all the items out that i was working on. i use high temp hot glue as well and seems to work great for me.
