Default Help with rhinestone buttons Please!!

So, I have been using some rhinestone buttons lately with my flowers, (good heavey ones)and I am just curious - how do you girls attach your buttons to flowers? I have been using hot glue, but I have noticed with some, I am able to pull the button off anybody have any better ideas?? E6000 or something? Thoughts?

E6000 would probably work better.

I put a stripe of hot glue and a stripe of E6000 on the button. The hot glue to hold it on until the E6000 dries. I do this on my bows with rhinestone button centers. I have tried to pull them off in the past and it is very, very difficult.

I use hot glue. I was having problems the other night with some I just got, though. I traded glue guns and they stayed just fine. I think my other glue gun is on the fritz (too much use!) and wasn't getting hot enough. Usually it steams it's so hot, and it wasn't. So, my tip is to make sure you are using HIGH TEMP glue with a HIGH TEMP glue gun. It should be HOT. If it's too cool in your house/studio (wherever) or there is a breeze from a window or fan, it'll cool off faster and not hold well. So lots of HOT glue, and press down firmly until it's dry-about a minute is what I hold.
GL!

I use E6000 on my metal buttons. Have tried hot glue and it does not hold these, works fine for the plastic ones though. HTH
