Default Need help in making a wristlet (that I can attach flowers to)

I make fabric flowers and rosettes and need to attach one to a wristlet. I don't know how to make a wristlet or what to make it with? Does anyone make these? I need it to be elegant for a woman, not a child. I was thinking lace or satin and maybe even FOE? Are wristlets stretchy or very tight? HELP!!!

Thanks.

I've made wristlets with Foe, just make sure they can get them over their hand. It's a bit tricky.

I have also purchased these and love them: http://www.etsy.com/transaction/38918144 I cover them in fleece, bend them around something round like a rolling pin (for an initial and consistent shape)and then wrap them with a thin ribbon or bias cut fabric strips. I then bend it around my own wrist for a more tailored fit.

I think this seller is brilliant!!

Best of luck!!

Those are cool but I'm thinking something dainty. Plus that would increase cost by a lot. Neat idea though!!

I forget the name of them but the flower shops use these for the wrist. Something with velcro. Forget the name of the company that sells these. Check EB.

If you don't want to use FOE you could sew a bit of velcro onto the ends of ribbon. Maybe have your customer measure her wrist and make the ribbon half inch longer and she can adjust with the velcro? idk...hth!

This is the way I make them.. short and so easy.. I buy upcycle silk blouses at thrifts then cutt the cuff off of it.. I take my tiny scissors and trim the silk so all you have is the cuff. A cuff is usually a perfect size for a womens wrist. Sometimes I just move the button. If you did not want to use an upcycle blouse, buy one chop of the cuff and take a pattern.
