Default Hot glue or fabri-tac

Just wondering which type of glue you prefer using on your projects? I've always used hot glue but I am considering trying out the fabri-tac on some new projects. Which adhesive do you prefer and on which projects do you use them? Thanks!

I personally don't trust fabric-tac very much.

I only use it for temporary holds, when I know that I will eventually be using a more permanent hold, like hot glue or thread

e6000 is AWESOME!! I use it for embellishments and rhinestones and all that, they NEVER ever fall off.. and the fumes are pretty strong, it seems like my lid always gets stuck to the top of the glue tube, and I have to pry it off, sometimes I even have to remove some dried glue out of the top of the glue tube, but hey after all that its totally worth it lol!

I use hot glue for everything but it does not work so well on flip flops!

It depends on what the project is...Hight temp is my stand by. I use Fabric Tac for a bunch of stuff as well though...Seems like a pretty permanent hold for me. I glued together a rip in my son's pillow pet about 5 inches long... It's been through the was 3 or 4 times since and shows no signs of coming apart.

Wow, Thanks ladies. It's good to hear from folks who have more experience. That way I don't end up losing a lot of money and making a big mess!
