Default Fall leaves

I know this has had to have been asked for before, but can anyone tell me how to make fall leaves sculptures. I have searched all the threads and the only results I get are for silk or felt leaves for flowers.

I have never seen them, but I would guess that you would use wide width ribbon and cut the shapes of the leaves out and crease them as you see fit to mimic the veins in the leaves.

I have never seen the leaves either. Have you looked on Etsy?

I've never seen fall leaves, I would think make a template out of a light cardboard (like. Cereal box, sketch a leaf, or better yet google images for "leaf outline" trace it onto your cardboard after printing, get some fall leave colors orange, yellow, red, brown, tans you know in 1.5 inch grosgrain and trace out a bunch of leafs, glue them on top of eachother (like a pile of leaves) and glue them to a alligator clip! Oh and don't forget to heat seal! Lol...that's the best I can think of since I've never seen a sculppture of fall leaves done before hth.

Oh I do like the idea of make them look like a small pile of leaves. Using the really bright reds and oranges, I think that would look good. Thank you for that wonderful idea!!!

I bet you could make it like this- http://hipgirlclips.com/forums/hairb...eres-mine.html

I know that I've seen something, somewhere that was like this in the shape of a maple leaf. There is a holly leaf tut somewhere on here as well. I think that is by Pixiemoon as well.
