Has anyone used foam accents in the middle o fstacked bows?

I have, and I've also used them as accents on my 4th of july tutus. Those are now a year old and still going strong. I think as long as it's cared for properly I don't see it being an issue. The type with multiple layers I would make sure it's all adhered to each other well since technically they are designed for sitting on a piece of paper or the like.

One of the bows went to a 1 year old at the time, she's 2 now and never tried to pick it apart or eat it etc, if that helps lol.

I think the only issue may be securing it properly. Be careful if you use glue or hot glue because some glues will eat away at foam stuff.

I made an art project with my son once and tried to use some hot glue on foam shapes and the glue started to melt the foam!

my plan was to stick them to felt and glue the felt to the clip.

Just my opinion but that seems like double work to me. You still have to glue the felt to the foam. Unless , of course , the bottom is going to show and you think the felt looks nicer .

i make clippies for my girls with foam. here are a few pics of some i made about 2 yrs ago, and they are still in perfect condition. oh, and i glued the layers together with hot glue and it didn't do any damage for me.
