I once purchased a bow in a fundraiser and I paid a fortune for it, tho thats not the point but it was sent in a polymailer & it was flat and the centre was broken I was terribly disappointed. I have always and will always send in boxes, I didnt complain to the seller on this occasion as it was for a fundraiser but if I'd been a paying customer I would have not been happy at all.

Thanks everyone....guess I will send by box now! It sucks that here in Canada the cost of shipping is so high! I was trying to keep my cost and the customers cost down by shipping by envelope, but it definatly isn't worth it. I want my bows to arrive nicely! Thanks again....what section in walmart do they carry the boxes? I checked yesterday in the stationary section and didn't see any? Thanks again.

Use 4x4x4 boxes. They are as cheap as envelops to mail and the perfect size for most bows.

When I ship bows, I always ship in boxes and then I put my bows in zip lock bags (one bow per bag), blow a little air in it and then zip it. I also use tissue paper at the corners and top of box so the bags do not move.

I once received bows sent in a brown envelope. not only were they CRUSHED but the glue melted off one of the clips.

Live and learn, right? lol
