Default HELP!! How to make this bow

Need to make a bow like this (layered double ruffle ribbon bow)

http://www.etsy.com/listing/50738891...facet=handmade

The top bow looks like a basic bow with a tail. How do I get this bow to look like this? My bow keeps looking like a twisted bow.

Thank you if yours.

I love making these and they sell well for me.

You can make them three ways:

-regular boutique
-twisted boutique
-pinwheel

All have beautiful results. I prefer to make them the twisted way and this is what they look like:

Olga...yours are beautiful! Some people like flat one and others like them fluffy. Yours don't have tails and mine do with "v" cuts. I don't use a template. I do those by hand as in one of our other discussions we did not have templates back then to use. I prefer for mine to be big and fluffy and I use the twisted method but with longer tails on mine.

Both of your DRR bows are gorgeous!! I have 2 rolls of DRR ribbon that I bought months ago because I thought it was so pretty and have been reluctant to use it until I got more experience. It looks flimsy and hard to work with it.

It is flimsy but you just need to practice with it a little bit and learn how to twist it right so it will stay puffy. I DO NOT spray anything on these bows at all because of the satiny feel to it....I am afraid the spray will stain the ribbon.

Thanks Ronnie, do you make 2 bows stacked on each other or use one continuous piece of ribbon?

I absolutely LOVE DRR. It is so pretty and I love the 2 layer bows. It is flimsier than gg ribbon, but it really wasn't that hard to make bows with.
