Well I have a couple hundred of these stocked up for my big shows coming up this summer/fall....

Maybe I should raise my prices....and sell none... LOL

I sell them for $5-6 depending on the show/sales I am doing. They go like crazy here, not just these, but any flowers really

If any of you girls have shopped bridal stores than you would know $30.00 is a real steal for a head piece.....Brides are searching etsy for bridal, bridal flowers etc. you girls are trying to market moms to little girls who cant spend 30.00 because of all the other things the child needs! Its all in the market...I say GOOD for her! I hope every one doesn't start under pricing and crash that market too!

She says in the listing that it measures 3.5", but can be made smaller upon request...I wonder how she does that?

they sell well for me for $5, too. I never thought about the bridal market being higher priced than the mommy market, but that makes complete sense to me. The problem is, I think the mommy market sells so much more than the bridal, that it's more lucrative to stick there in the long run. Brides are only brides once (if they're lucky), but daughters are EVERYWHERE!

THIS! It's a completely different market. Anything under $30 is definitely a steal.

Yes... too many people charge too little for their work. Given this was a very easy product to make...she knows who she is aiming for and there are materialistic people out there that think if it costs more then it is better. Everyone should have their items marked on the high end and then have sales when they need to.

* most brides are looking for the best as this is their day and they want everything perfect.

Reminds me of when I started out on eBay and was doing mostly large, stacked, over-the-top bows on headbands for babies. I was happy to get $12 for them. One time I got a whopping $18! I was beaming with pride until I saw a woman who was getting....get this.....$50 bucks because she added more buttons, photographed it nicely in a professional studio, and had great graphics.

That's really when I decided I needed to "step up" my presentation! Of course I don't see anyone getting $50 for a layered bow on a headband with a few buttons now...this was back in 2007 before the recession, in what I'd consider eBay's boutique heyday....but I still thought it was kind of ridiculous that people spent that much!

Wow! That is crazy, I looked through her sold items and she certainly has sold a lot. Just shows its all about the marketing. The nice picture and the price make it seem like a truly high quality flower, whereas we all know its a look-a-like flower ha ha or whatever they are called. I have mine at $7 and maybe 2 bites...maybe I should go to etsy with them! ha ha
