Default Any ideas why this would be happening to my spikes?

I have been playing around with adding spikes to my bows and i have figured it out, but when I go to attach my spikes to the back of my bows the spikes always turn inwards (towards the bow) and it looks funny. I cant seem to make the spikes lay flat. It looks strange on a child's head when everything is turning away from the head. Any ideas why this would be happening and how to fix it? I have look for tutorials, but couldn't find any ones that would help. Anyone know of a good one? Thanks in advance!

Are you sewing them together? How are you putting them together?

I always add a little dab of glue before I sew or secure mine to the rest of the bow. Sometimes they slip if I don't do that.

I also lay mine out flat and put some Rave hairspray on them to help them stay in place.

I think I know what your talking about this used to happen to me, try flipping the base bow (under the spikes) upside down...like just flip it completely over. The side you normally glue the clip to, should now be touching the spikes. And also before you stick it together, starch!
