Default questions on Loopy Bows

Hi,
I made Loopy bows and i was just wondering what is the best method to make the Loopy Bows without having them moved around like when u tried to move it by pulling the ribbons up. Is wire okay and what about using threads to make the loopy bows? any tips on how to make it stay still when the ribbons are being pulled up?

I use an alligator clip to hold my bows together and then I sew them with thread.

I sew those loopies together and then use elactic thread to wrap all layers.

I've never sold any loopy bows on eBay (tried several times but all failed). Not sure where I did wrong. And it's very time consuming (loopy and spike) so I gave it up.

One of my loopy bow:

The simple one would be like this:

Default Loopy bow instruction

Anybody purchased the instruction from Girlie Girl's boutique (ebay ID girliegirlbow*tique)? Here bows are beautiful. The price is kind of high so I'd like to know if it's worth it.

http://www.girliegirlbowtique.com/st...ex.php?cPath=7

Thanks.

Hi Michelle,

I look at you website, your loopy bows are really pretty. Your sister in China (ebay user ID: hetianlu) also sells layered loopy bows. These are really pretty. I especially like this one.

So maybe you do not need to purchase any more instructions. You and your sister Helen are already good enough.

I purchased many instructions and I think practice is the key.. I only can make simple bows now....AHA?>>>>

Thank you. I think nobody wants my loopy bows because I don't have a lot of novelty ribbons to match the outfit.

By the way, Helen's auction sometimes ends at extreamly low price ($0.5 for a large layered bow). If anybody signed up for the craft show, purchse the bows to sell on the show. Use the auction sniper tool to nail down the super deal. Here is the sniper thread:

I don't have a book. I'm trying to create instructions piece by piece and post here. I don't have time to form a book now

Michelle, try selling them on craigslist.org. I don't think bows do that well on e-bay unless you have sold them there for a long time. So many people are selling that it is overloaded.
I have girlie girl bow instructions. Do you have them too?
