That's a good idea. Would be cheaper than having it printed on there.

No, on the postcards you get free black and white printing on the back. That's why I started putting on my disclaimer. The business cards do cost extra though.

I recently purchased through Vistaprint and it wasn't extra to print a warning grayscale on the back. I think it is extra when you want color, although Vistaprint can be super annoying because they give some customers better deals than others.

In my opinion, it's quite a gamble to not put a disclaimer on something because of laws & financial liability and such, but I rarely see it done. I sell in a crafters store in the mall and am the only vendor who does this (atleast last I checked but haven't visited other vendors booths in a long time so I can't be certain.) So glad you are all doing this!!

I haven't added this yet but but was discussing it with a few shop owners (brick and mortar) not long ago...some thoughts were that it would send up a red flag as far as law suits were concerned, as everyone was so "sue happy" these days and it would give consumers a "thought" TO SUE if their child actaully chocked on something(not my thoughts)and others thought it was a good idea and in compliance. I am still leaning very strongly to adding the warning to all my products on cards. Do y'all mind sharing how you worded your warning? I have seen something as simple as "Warning: small parts could cause a chocking hazard in children", to something very wordy about not for children under a certain age, use with supervision, and on and on and on that could take 15 minutes and a magnafying glass to read.

Thanks so much for all your replies ladies! I was having second thoughts about putting it on the back when DH said no one looks on the back! I'm going to stick with having the disclaimer on the back.

I have it on front and back. It is fairly small and on the bottom right hand corner of my post cards (Bow Cards) and also in larger print on the back in gray scale.

Mine is on the back side in black and white on the post cards (because it is free). On the business cards that I use for small bows or clips I use a clear address label on the back because it usually does cost extra to print on the back of those.

I never thought of putting it on the back of my cards! I do have a disclaimer at my table and on my fb page...never thought about each bow card.

Thanks for this thread ladies. This is something I will be doing...not only to protect myself but my customers as well.
