Default Which method do you use when making bows?

I normally sew my bows but was hoping to make them quicker without giving up security of sewing.

Do any of you tie your bows instead and if so, what do you use to tie them? dental floss, elastic, wire?

And how secure is it?

My biggest worry would be the bow falling apart. Thank you in advance.

I sew, because I can't get the crease look I want otherwise, and it's the most secure method. If it's not sewn, my daughter can take it apart (well, used to at least. At 2.5 years, she's getting less destructive )

I use bow wire and i havent had any problems with them falling apart, i just looked at one of m unfinished ones and you can see a three fold crease in the middle, so they are still creasing pretty good.

When using templates, I sew but when making bows free hand, I use organza ribbon to tie.

I sew, I would worry about the wire poking through.

I tie mine with crochet thread. Aunt Lydia's is the brand I use. My bows are super secure and I've never had a problem with them falling apart.

I tie my bows with fishing line. They are very secure & I have never had any problems with them falling apart! & I get my creases to look pretty good to!

I sew mine too. Awhile back, someone suggested using those lil zip ties.
