Default Top Hat and FOE question

How do you attach foe to tophats? Do you just glue it in on each side?

Thanks!

I recommend gluing to both sides and then covering with felt for added security.

I would probably just attach two alli clips to the bottom of the hat and not actually attach it to the foe. Then clip it over the foe through the hair maybe?

Edit: Or what Ash said, lol!

I cover the bottom with felt, I put 1/8 elastic under the ali clips and attach them (get that visual?). My hats have a 5" wide base though and elastic out the sides would look goober-ific.

I have the same question. Can you possibly post pictures?

I don't have a pic at work, but I made a 'paint' drawing of what mine look like , theyre all black at the bottom, solid black stiff felt, black lined ali clips and black 1/8" elastic.

Does this help?

I saw a pic of alligator clips one on each side but like the look of the foe or elastic as well, using felt to cover the bottom makes sense.
