Default Fourth of July tutu?

I'd love some advice on making a FOJ tutu. My dd turns one on July 2, so we are having a patriotic themed party this year. The ones I've seen on etsy and websites are too expensive IMO. I don't have a sewing machine but have seen examples of tied tutus. Some look great and some look kinda cheap. Anyone ever made their own tutus?

If you do some searching on this forum, you will find tons of great information on making your own. Youtube is also a great resource. Good luck!

I make and sell them. Here's 2 of mine I've done recently. I love making tutus, learned on here by searching the forums and with lots and lots of practice.

I made 4th of July tutus for my dd and niece last year, I can't remember how much tulle I used, but I made it nice and full and the knots were tied. I used the double tie method, and made it look like an American flag. I used foam glitter stars too, and hot glued them to the top and bottom of the top layer of tulle.

I make mine also with the double knot method.
I also add satin red ribbon to accent it.
