Question Help - How to design Gymboree graphics...

I have been designing in PSE for a little while now (started out with digital scrapping) and am wanting to start making my own designs.

SO my question is where do people get the images for their m2m gymbo ribbon graphics, bottlecaps etc... I know how to find them through google and clean them up to use them, but then is it legal to sell that image as part of a bottlecap or ribbon design file? I saw one designer that said she designed them herself to match, but I would have no idea how to do that with only using my original stuff...meaning no papers or images from anywhere. Some of the designs that people claim are their own look EXACTLY like the images from Gymboree's website, so I'm just wondering...

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also had the thought that maybe some are really talented artists and are drawing the images by hand and scanning them?? If so, I'm out of luck because I absolutely can not draw! :0

Some of the images I've seen almost look like they may have scanned the clothing to get the image. Otherwise, I'm not sure how to go about a raw design- i'm not that good!

ETA- And it is technically illegal to use their exact images but obviously it's up to you whether you want to use them and take the risk.
