Default Question about this type of bow... Help so appreciated!

I would love to make a bow similar to the style shown below. (Picture was borrowed online to use as an example.) I know the top bow is a twisted boutique and the bottom is spikes. My question is, how do you attach the spikes to the twisted boutique bow? Also, how do you make the spikes look so good like that? I'm so confused when adding spikes! Please help! Any advice is sooooooooooo appreciated! Thanks so much!

When I make my spikes, I just glue, or sew them onto the bow, (I glue more) and to make them that neat, takes practice. There are lots of excellent tutorials avalible online for free. Just look, I know of a few, if you would like them (:

I always sew them on.....and to get them as perky as those, starch and bake!

I starch and bake everything....some only do the bow and some only the spikes.....it's a personal preference...

Mix liquid starch 50/50 with water and spray your bows down...then bake for 20mins at 275...
