Default Bow Holders...

Now I have made a couple of bow holders, the rectangle/square kind with strips of ribbon. I always feel that the back of my holders is messy and unattractive. Basically I just fold the material at the back and staple. I have only made them for family and friends at the moment.

Does anyone have any tricks to getting the back of their boards looking neat and tidy? Any tips on how to fold the material too? I'll usually do one really good and then try and do it the same on the next one and it doesn't work. Very frustrating!

I always just put a piece of felt to cover the back just smaller than the size of the holder.

My first thought was also felt, but another idea is ribbon. Glue or staple a band of ribbon around the edges of the back. Does that make sense?

This is what we do, I just measure the ribbon to the back, cut it accordingly, put down some hot glue, attach the ribbon, then heat seal the edge with the lighter!

Stabilizers works too! Not the expensive kind, but the kind you can buy in a big roll. I just cut to size of canvas or board and use stable gun to secure. Makes the bow board look very professional!!!
