Default attaching tulle pom pom to a crochet headband

Hope this isnt too silly of a question but I have a customer who wants the tulle pom pom on her crochet headband. I usually just have them on alligator clips and attach them like that but she wants it to be on there permanently. Any suggestions? Should I just hand sew the pom pom to the headband? Any help would be great!
Here is a pic of what I am talking about

WHOA! That thing is huge! (But very cute!)

I would sew it and back it with felt to cover up your stitching.

Well the ones I make are more pom poms not huge ones like that. I make them like this http://www.momdot.com/how-to-make-a-tulle-pom-pom-ball. I have seen the instructions on here before. So sorry I dont really know how to make a big one like that. It was just the only picture I found at 2 am that resembled it, lol

I have seen these before. I have wanted to do it, but haven't tried yet. I was thinking of just doing a knot like doing a tutu.

maybe glue it onto the headband and put a piece of felt on the backside of the beadband so the glue doesnt rub against her head?

I just hand sew mine, instead of felt on the back though, I use satin:-)
